Hi Everyone...welcome to my first journal entry. I have been wanting to do something like this for a while. This will not be a daily journal... but I will try to write when something cool is happening or I have something profound to say. Let me know if there are any specific topics that you would like me to cover in my writings...I am open to suggestions. In future entries I hope to include some of my most intimate thoughts on cars, women, the best cell phone plans available for $39.99 and my award winning poetry. This is definitely going to get ugly. 
     So this is what is happening...We (Portable) recently parted ways with our record label and are enjoying our "newfound freedom." We are currently writing and recording new songs and we are thinking about releasing an independent EP in the summer of 2003. It feels like that there is a lot of excitement and inspiration within the band right now. We will be playing more shows as summer gets closer...don't forget to come to the show on Saturday, April 12, 2003 @ The Gig (on Melrose).
